A nicely arranged hotel with good staff, but lacking in several areas. We stayed in an apartment, which was a lovely room, but there was no vanity mirror, robes, or equipment for making coffee/tea. The bar closes at 10 PM, and don’t expect coffee after 9 PM, as they turn off the machine. Also, it’s rarely staffed during the day. There are only 3 options on the lunch menu, so it’s better to go out if you want more variety. The staff is friendly and helpful, but it seems that the management here makes some odd decisions!

Fantastic hotel on a beautiful piece of property. The staff was excellent and the food was one of the best we have ever had at a hotel. We did the property tour on the Canam which was great. We also did the sheep sheering and herding which was so interesting. Gary was so much fun

A return stay and we are coming back again for a longer stay! Thank you Miles and Hall. And thank you to an incredible staff! As always we loved the Rhodes Suite and the amazing dinner and breakfast and cocktail hour. It truly is like coming home when we are there, and this is a gift that the Otahuna has. Wow!! Each and every review is spot on!! This place is absolutely exceptional as well as unforgettable. Where do you begin? The staff are all amazing! Definitely want to give a shout out to Shar who was quite amused by us as well as Lucy and Nikki. The food was absolutely delicious! Thank you Zak and Jimmy! The room was stunning and comfortable. And Miles and Hall are gracious hosts! We will NEVER forget Otahuna!

We had a very nice three-night stay at Blanket Bay. The property is spectacular, with so much space it often feels like you’ve got the place to yourself. The food was exceptional and very well portioned – we always left dinner feeling full but not overly so. The wine our sommelier picked out for us each night was perfect, and we especially enjoyed the pre-dinner cocktail hour in the bar before dinner each night. We wound up making friends with another couple, which was great fun.

We stayed a night here as part of our New Zealand road trip to get a night’s luxury on our trip, and it certainly gave us that. The hotel is a bit like a Scottish lodge with lots of stone and wood, very cosy. The rooms and the hotel overlook the lake, it’s a stunning location. We had the dinner and breakfast package, the food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s also a games room where you can play pool, darts etc. and help yourself to drinks, and also there’s walks you can do around the hotel, plus Glenorchy village is a short drive away

If you’re visiting Auckland, this is the place to be! The location is amazing. You can walk to everything with in a few minutes. The carpet style looks a bit dated, but the rooms are amazing and clean. I would stay here again in a second they have some of the bestseafood restaurants of any Hilton property I’ve stayed at!

We stayed one night at the InterContinental Hotel in Wellington enjoying the facilities of a Premium Room. The room was great and we enjoyed the hospitality of the Lobby Lounge before a wonderful meal in their restaurant, the GPO. Central and convenient, any visitor to Wellington should consider staying here.

We stayed at Kauri Cliffs for three nights in March 2023 and it was truly wonderful. The service, views, food, golf, our room, the relaxed environment – everything was incredible. The staff are so friendly and super-accommodating and make you feel like family. The golf course was the most picturesque I have played. Also – because the course doesn’t receive a lot of play, you feel like you have the entire course to yourself which was a nice bonus. It was a special occasion destination for us and it did not disappoint in the least. We will be talking about our experience there for a long time!

We visited the lodge recently for 4 nights on our honeymoon across New Zealand. We were blown away at how amazing the property was and how personable the staff was. The golf was first class. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who truly needs some relaxation while taking in the views, private beaches, and the 6000 acres of private land the lodge has to explore. This was the highlight of our 12 day trip.

Want to celebrate something special to you is where the ‘Cliffs’ excel. They make you feel very unique and in all ways make you trip there, for whatever reason, a memorable occasion. And it is those outstanding events that plant a special memory in your mind where many others simply blur!

Great hotel, nice rooms, good service and fantastic location. I use this hotel for business and pleasure and keep coming back. Recommend it as it’s world class in a very nice environment where you can take advantage of what Auckland has to offer. Highly rate.

Amazing rooms and in the centre of town. Staff were friendly and the drinks were excellent. Would definitely return. Rooms beautifully appointed. The bathroom and bath are also fantastic. The Tamarind bar was great and the team very knowledgeable.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Georgia at the front desk was very nice. Breakfast at the No5 Restaurant was great. The room was lovely as well. My favorite part was the location. It was so close to everything, we could walk to everything we needed!
